Timon Vreman successfully defended his PhD thesis
On the 23rd of September 2025, COPS PhD candidate Timon Vreman successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Controlling the Reflection and Emission of Light via Photonic Crystals and Quasicrystals” under the supervision and co-supervision of prof. dr. Willem Vos and prof. dr. Ad Lagendijk, respectively, and obtained the doctoral degree.
The doctoral committee consisted of prof.dr. T.F. Krauss from the University of York, prof. dr. A.P. Mosk from Universiteit Utrecht, prof. dr. K.J. Boller from the University of Twente, and prof. dr. ir. J.W.M. Hilgenkamp from the University of Twente.
