Three second year chemistry students have begun their Professional Assignments at COPS.

Anouk van ‘t Erve is working on inkjet printing of colloidal suspensions and how changing the composition of the suspension affects the print.

Nyo Dijkstra is working on how pre-treating or modifying a surface will affect inkjet printing of colloids.

Ellemieke de Heij is working on modifying 2D photonic crystals with fluorophores and trying to image inside of the structures using fluorescence microscopy.

They will be working at COPS for 7 weeks.
