COPS latest project from NWO’s Perspective, OPTIC, has been officially Kicked-off. Project users from industry and involved institutes were all invited to celebrate this event with us. From the stunning height of the 13^th floor of the UT Horst tower, participants were treated to a beautiful panoramic view of area and interesting talks about the research and challenges within the project.

After an opening by Willem Vos and an insight into NWO’s Perspective program. Representatives from ASML, Signify, TNO, Anteryon, Demcon and JMO all challenged the partitioning institutes(UT, TU/e, ARCNL and TUD) with their industry questions. And in turn all started PhDs from the institutes showed their first researches in a poster presentation during the lunch and dinner breaks.

Of course, the wouldn’t be perfect without a COPS lab tour and a group picture of all participants.
