COPS scientists have participated in the 12th International Conference on Elastic, Electrical, Transport, and Optical Properties of Inhomogeneous Media (ETOPIM12) in Besancon from 8 to 12 July. ETOPIM is held every three years with the goal of discussing the experimental and theoretical advances in the field of inhomogeneous media.

During the conference, Ad Lagendijk received the prestigious Rolf Landauer Medal of the International ETOPIM Association (congratulations!), and gave an invited talk. Ozan Akdemir, Alfredo Rates, Duy Truong, and Timon Vreman presented exciting new results, giving rise to a strong COPS presence! We look forward to seeing you at the next ETOPIM in New York 2025.
