On the 29th and 31st of May, the nanophotonics masters students descended on the COPS labs for the nanophotonics practicum. Over the course of two days, they partook in experiments on waveform shaping, mutual extinction, coherence and reflectivity, using four different optical setups. The students got to experience the practicalities of nanophotonics in a working laboratory, as well as consolidate the theory they have learned with samples in the real world.
