On July 8th, 2021, Thijmen Huisman completed his internship project at COPS for his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Saxion University of Applied Sciences.

Thijmen successfully designed an automated integrating sphere setup which is controlled remotely to measure total transmission and reflection of multiple samples. This project was carried out under the supervision of Ozan Akdemir, Cornelis Harteveld and Willem Vos.
